Learn more at www.sevenhillswinery.comLocated in the heart of Walla Walla, WA, Seven Hills Winery is one of the region's oldest and most respected wineries. As a fourth-generation farmer who worked alongside his father to plant the famed Seven Hills Vineyard, Founder Casey McClellan played an important role in the viticultural history of the Walla Walla Valley appellation (AVA). As a winemaker, Casey has guided Seven Hills Winery, creating wines that are benchmarks for excellence in the Northwest.
The Viognier has been made from Talcott Vineyard for a number of years, and offers a wonderful balance and varietal character. The wine presents a sweet ripe peach undertone, with toasty creamy notes, and a buttery finish. Light smoky and honeysuckle notes round out the aromas and flavors. Citrus takes a back seat to stone fruits this vintage. This wine really reaches out to you in all regards: color, aroma, and palate. Don't wait to enjoy this extremely accessible white, it will be at its best the first few years after release.
Viognier (vi-ohn-yay) Floral: orange blossom, acacia, violet, honey; Fruit: apricot, peach, mango, pineapple, guava, kiwi, tangerine; best consumed young (1-5 yrs).
